LaTREC will hold a meeting to decide whether to fund the installation of an elevator in the building. This meeting is not with the museum architects and will not include a general update on the museum project.
A decision on the elevator must be made before demolition and the “white boxing” of the downstairs area, ensuring the final layout of the space can be completed. The Baton Rouge architects are expected to provide an estimate for the downstairs “white box” work soon.
