Below is a tentative outline of topics covered in this presentation, subject to change. Representatives will lead this workshop from both the Louisiana State Police (LSP) and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA). Sgt. Brady Johnson, Compliance Review Division & Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) Training Coordinator for the Louisiana State Police with lead the state regulatory portion. Regional and state representatives from the FMCSA will lead their workshop portion, focusing on federal regulations.

• Part A Review:  Basic knowledge, skills, practices, and procedures necessary for driver inspections under the Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program. This includes focusing on CDLs, logbooks, medical cards, and other standard documents.
• Level 6 Review (Radioactive hazmat): Basics knowledge, skills, practices, and procedures necessary for inspections for drivers and vehicles transporting transuranic waste and highway route controlled quantities shipments of radioactive material.
